COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC

Grant Rules and Policies

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Only registered nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for grants that are in Good Standing and have submitted the required tax documents to the Internal Revenue Service (990 or 990 EZ).  Documentation is required. 

  2. Projects must align with the mission and priorities of COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC.

 

Application Process:

  1. All applications must be submitted through the online application portal by the specified deadline.

  2. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

  3. Applicants are encouraged to contact grants@thestartuhp.com for clarification or assistance.

 

Grant Amount and Duration:

  1. The maximum grant amount is $750.

  2. The project duration should not exceed twelve months.

  3. Grant funds must be utilized exclusively for the purposes outlined in the approved application and not for salary or stipends.

 

Budget Guidelines:

  1. A detailed budget, including all funding sources (if applicable), must be submitted with the application.

  2. Any budgetary changes exceeding 10% must be approved by the Grant Officer.

 

Reporting Requirements:

  1. Grantees are required to submit quarterly progress reports, including financial statements.

  2. A final report must be submitted within 30 days of the project's completion.

  3. Failure to submit reports on time may result in the withholding of future grant payments.

 

Evaluation and Monitoring:

  1. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC reserves the right to conduct site visits or evaluations to monitor the progress of funded projects.

  2. Grantees are expected to cooperate fully with any monitoring activities.

 

Publicity and Acknowledgment:

  1. Grantees must acknowledge COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC as a funding source in all promotional and publicity materials related to the project.

  2. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC may request the use of project-related photos or testimonials for promotional purposes.

 

Modifications and Amendments:

  1. Any proposed modifications to the project must be submitted in writing and approved by the Grant Officer.

  2. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC reserves the right to request modifications to the project as deemed necessary.

 

Intellectual Property:

  1. Any intellectual property developed because of the funded project shall be the property of COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC.

  2. Grantees must agree to provide COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC with access to project-related materials for educational or promotional purposes.

 

 Compliance:

  1. Grantees must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the project.

  2. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC reserves the right to terminate the grant if there is evidence of non-compliance.

 

Conflict of Interest:

  1. Grantees must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the project.

  2. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC will assess and manage conflicts of interest on a case-by-case basis.

 

Termination of Grant:

  1. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION INC reserves the right to terminate a grant if the grantee fails to fulfill the terms and conditions outlined in the grant agreement.
