The From Information to Empowerment Workshop is a practical 45-minute live online session designed for entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, faith leaders, civic organizations, and community changemakers who want to create more meaningful and effective community engagement.
Participants will explore the five stages of community engagement—Inform, Listen, Involve, Collaborate, and Empower—and learn when and how to use each approach. The workshop goes beyond simply inviting people to meetings or asking for feedback by helping leaders understand how to intentionally increase community voice, participation, shared decision-making, and leadership.
Participants will leave with a practical strategy for choosing the appropriate level of engagement for their initiative and moving their community from information toward meaningful participation and empowerment.
