Let's Grow Your Nonprofit through Mentorship

The Nonprofit Incubator is a mentoring group designed to help organizations start, grow, and sustain. The mission is "Helping Nonprofits run like For-Profits." The most significant difference between a for-profit and a nonprofit is "need." The nonprofit primary focus is to meet social needs. Many new nonprofit leaders believe that running a nonprofit organization is challenging but with the proper knowledge, resources, and training. You will successfully develop your Organization and make a difference in the community.

Project Saturday
February 10, 2023  @11 am

As Business Owners and Nonprofit Leaders, there are days when it seems like you cannot get anything done. No matter how many projects or tasks you start, nothing gets checked off your to-do list, and by the end of the day you’re even more overwhelmed and frustrated than when you started.

Though you can’t avoid all interruptions, you can guarantee yourself a stretch of the day in which you have complete, undivided focus and attention. "Project Saturday" gives you the ideal environment and an uninterrupted block of time — a time lock — in which to concentrate on the tasks at hand and maintain your momentum and productivity.

This means no Web browsing, no checking social media, no answering emails or phone calls — just a quiet period, with no external distractions, in which you can get work done.  The best part about Project Saturday is that you are expected to complete tasks and be accountable to your peers.  The most exciting part of this event is what I like to call the "HOT SEAT."  This is a time will you gain valuable insight, direction or plain old good advice if you are facing a challenging moment in completing tasks.

    Manifesting Your Dream
February 25, 2024 @ 2 pm

A vision board is a collection of images, words, quotes, objects, and ideas that help you visualize your goals and achieve your dreams. This year, our focus is creating a  BINGO vision board that will help you think more about the life you desire and how to get there. It will also encourage you to spend less time dwelling on everything you don't have. In other words, it represents a person's dreams and where they hope their life and goals will take them.

Now that we understand the What and the Why of the board. Let's focus on Manifesting Your Dreams and Accomplishing Your Goals. A key part of achieving your goals includes accountability to yourself and others, celebrating the wins, and creating and seizing the opportunities to succeed.

What you think you become.

What you feel you attract.

What you imagine you create.
