The GirlBosses Foundation is preparing to award a $2,500 Capital Grant to help an eligible woman-owned startup business or woman-led startup nonprofit strengthen its operations, expand its impact, and move its vision forward.

 

Funds may be used for approved expenses such as equipment, technology, inventory, marketing, professional services, program materials, licensing, or other needs that support sustainable growth and community impact.

• Applications open: April 2027

• Eligible applicants: Woman-owned startup businesses and woman-led startup nonprofits

• Service area: Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia

 

Organizations located in Southern Maryland—especially Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s counties—are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

No paid program, cohort, membership, or consulting service is required to apply or receive the grant.
