How a Circle Runs

A short application and a 15-minute discovery call to understand where your business stands today.

Get Matched
You’re placed into a cohort of six to eight women at a similar stage, paired with a strategist mentor.

Meet Biweekly
Structured sessions for six months, working through The Startup Strategist’s architecture framework.

Graduate
Leave with a completed business roadmap — and eligibility to apply for a Foundation Micro-Grant.

Ninety minutes, every other week, for six months - held to the same architecture framework across the cohort.

Direct access to the same tools and templates used across the wider ecosystem.
1:1 Strategist Matching
Paired with a mentor whose background fits your industry and stage.
Grant Eligibility
Graduates are first in line to apply for a Foundation Micro-Grant.
Who is this for?
This is for
Early-stage women entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders across the DMV who are ready for structure, not just encouragement — and who can commit to six months of biweekly meetings.
Is there a cost to join?
Mentorship Circles are scholarship-funded through the Foundation. There is no cost to accepted applicants.
How much time does it take?
Plan on ninety minutes every other week, plus time between sessions to apply what you’ve worked through.
When do cohorts start?
New cohorts open twice a year. Apply any time — you’ll be matched into the next available start date.
